For the information of all concerned, it is to be informed that bogus recruitment notice has been circulated online in the name of permanent post of 'Area Manager' and 'Project Supervisor' in BTCL - which has come to the notice of BTCL administration. No such recruitment notification has been published by BTCL on its own or any other website. The name of BTCL has been used for fraudulent purposes in these fake recruitment advertisements. The notification kept BTCL's logo design and changed the order of the last two letters i.e. BTLC instead of BTCL and mentioned an address of Gulshan-2.


Recruitment circulars are published in newspapers to promote all recruitment related activities of BTCL. BTCL's own website (www.btcl.gov.bd) for recruitment examination notices and examination results are published. The recruitment process is conducted transparently and impartially as per the rules and recruitment is done on the basis of merit. There was no advertisement on the website of BTCL regarding the said recruitment. The said recruitment advertisement is not issued by BTCL and BTCL has no association with it. All concerned are requested to be alert about this fake recruitment notification mentioned. However, BTCL authorities will not bear the responsibility if anyone is cheated through this fake recruitment notification and the victim can take the help of local law enforcement if they wish.
